GRAND PRIX OF TORONTO

Grand Prix of Toronto - Toronto Hotels .com

Grand Prix of Toronto
Toronto takes its street racing very seriously. So seriously, in fact, that it employs a countdown clock that clicks down the days, hours, minutes, and seconds until the next Grand Prix of Toronto. This championship world series car race has been speeding through the streets of Toronto for over 20 years at the 2.824-kilometer (1.755-mile) track found at Exhibition Place, on the shores of Lake Ontario next to the city's financial district. Thousands of fans pour into Exhibition Place to see the races and get up close to more than 180 race cars on display.

After a series of turns and even a cancelation (see Wikipedia), the Grand Prix of Toronto is now known as "Honda Indy Toronto"
