Canada National Exhibition

The Canada National Exhibition (CNE), called by the locals Toronto's "Summer Celebration," is an 18-day fair that takes place every August with its conclusion on Labor Day. With a history dating back 128 years, it is the largest fair in Canada and the fifth largest in North America. The Exhibition's roots are agricultural and this is an ongoing feature of the fair, which highlights a working farm and a horse show. The Exhibition continues to evolve, however, and now has grown to include some the most well-known Canadian and international performers and athletes.

For children, over 50 rides and 80 games are clustered on two separate midways. For dining options, the CNE Food Building, housing more than 90 vendors, boasts a unique display of foods from all over the world. Finally, each year CNE hosts the Snowbirds, Canada's top flying team, in the largest over-the-water air show in the world.
