Niagara Falls

Approximately 75 miles southeast of Toronto, Niagara Falls is one of the most awe-inspiring spectacles that nature has to offer. An easy day trip from Toronto, and likely the world's most famous waterfall, Niagara is flanked by two cities: Niagara Falls, New York, and Niagara Falls, Ontario.

In addition to being a wonder of nature, it's also a top-tier, fully developed tourist destination with all sorts of attractions and activities. Gourmet dining, entertainment, and lodging options are all available for visitors at these twin cities. At the falls themselves, there is also plenty for sightseers to do. The 35-mile recreational trail winds along and even behind the falls, giving visitors access to portals that allow them to look out through Niagara's cascading water. Elsewhere, there is the Skylon observation tower, which gives stunning views of the Falls and the surrounding lands.
